What a simple season-end report can show—and what it should leave out.
A season-end report answers the fair question every family has: where did the money go? Keep it brief, readable, and tied to the budget you shared at the beginning.
Show totals by clear category, explain meaningful differences from the original plan, and document the ending balance or next step for any remaining funds.
You do not need to publish personal payment details or make a legal conclusion. The value is transparency and a clean handoff to the next volunteer.
